The path runs through the Part 21 online course at rpasacademy.ng, followed by an aeronautical-knowledge exam, resulting in an RPAS License valid 2 years. Applications and registration run through the NCAA's rpas.ncaa.gov.ng portal.
Civil drone operation in Nigeria is regulated by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) under a documented five-phase RPAS Operations Certificate process. The training-school ecosystem is young; Nigeria's first NCAA-approved RPAS training organisation was only certified in mid-2025.
