For individuals, only a temporary personal-use permit is currently active: a per-flight electronic application covering approved specifications and insurance. CARC's own guide states that a dedicated personal licensing regime has been drafted but is not yet active, pending activation of a UTM traffic-management system.
The published minimum age for the future regime is 18, though no credential name or fee exists yet for individuals.
Civil drone operation in Jordan is regulated by the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC), under a security-framed instructional guide rather than a personnel-licensing regulation. Commercial operations are gated at the company level, requiring registration, a security program, an inspection, and a named accountable pilot manager.
This page is for general orientation and may not reflect the latest regulatory changes. It is not legal advice: confirm current rules, fees, and permitted zones with your country's civil aviation authority before you fly.
